Objective:
The aim of this smelling jars exercise is to develop and refine olfactory senses in the child and improve matching skills.
Substances with different smells are placed inside the first set of jars and exactly the same matching substances are placed in the second set of jars. The child has to match each bottle in the first set with a bottle that has the same smell from the second set.
