How to present the toy using the Montessori method:
- Place the box on the floor in front of your baby and pick up the ball using your thumb and pointer finger. It's helpful to name the ball and be descriptive, for example 'round ball'
- Engage your child's interest with a single word instruction such as 'look' or 'watch'
- Hold the ball above the hole
- Drop it through the hole and repeat the circuit
- Now offer your baby a turn
